Canadian GP 2010: Discussion/Planning

So the date is set 6/13/10. It seems like a long ways away but it'll be here before you know it. Is there anyone else besides me who's setting their sights on going?

i'm thinking about it. talked to a friend about it and he reckons just the flight, tickets, and lodging is going to cost over a grand. may just have to wait until we get the USGP back and look then.

My friends and I did it a few years ago, but we stayed for a week (few days before and a few days afterward). It was about $1000 for tickets/air fare/rental apartment, and that was done fairly cheaply.

i suggested to my friend to fly as close as possible but still in the US. then from there we'll rent a car and drive across the border.

can you keep this thread updated when you have more plans with cost and such? a bit off topic, ALMS is running earlier this year at Laguna Seca. it's in May now and it's a 6 hour race.

I've been told that it's well worth it to go for a couple of extra days. Montreal is a really cool city I guess. Good eats, great night life, and GP too. Joooy!!!
