Can someone reflash my car for me at BAM?
So I found out I'm having an issue with the accessport because my map on my car is corrupted. So I need to flash my car with a stock SOA map, which I have on my computer and then I can marry the accessport to my car. I don't have a windows computer or tatrix cable nor do I know EXACTLY how to flash my car using ecuflash. Would someone be willing to do this for me? Just a simple reflash. No datalogging or anything. It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks

Nope, they said the only thing that will work is if I reflash it with a stock map using ecuflash or another program like it. The accessport wont even marry to my car until then

Its not married and never was on my car. Cobb says my ecu has a "corrupted" map. It will continue to run fine but he said the accessport wont work until its flashed back to stock then I may be able to marry the ap but if that doesn't work then to try it on another 04 wrx.

The guy said it worked fine and didn't have problems with it when he used it. It's a V1 and the guy sold his WRX months ago and just had it sitting in the garage.

It won't work on the old ECU's if it's been EcuTek'd, the only way for an AP to over right the EcuTek licensed ECU is to flash the ECU back to stock ROM with OS first. If it's a newer car 04+STI or 06+ WRX then the AP can over right an EcuTek license.

Yeah, that's what justin's issue is. He's on an ecutek license.
Be better off just buying a ECU of someone and starting over. LOL. I think LIC has some.

I don't know if the car has every been ECuTek'd before I got it. I got it with 70k miles last september and all it had was a muffler. I got the car flashed from a friend using a tatrix cable, ecuflash and a tune off a forum call osecuroms then did a few pulls while using romraider. But I am talking to shimmies about helping me reflash my car using ecuflash and a stock ROM which I also got from osecuroms.

I hope its not on an ecutek license.. but if it is, I'll just continue to stay on my same tune and attempt to learn how to tweak it myself or deal with it later down the road..
