That's faster than a stage 1 03 srt-4.

How you get 230 flywheel hp to become 248 wheel hp with not mods, I dunno

p.s. I have a friend who used to run his 510 at the track, pulling high 14s ... he used to put "BONE STOCK" on rear windshield in shoe polish

I was talking to a guy at the track a few weeks ago, he had a 04 with a stage 1 mopar package he was hiting low fourteens all night maybe with a good driver 13.7.we raced that night the rex pulled hard on him through 1st and 2nd but soon as i hit 3rd he flew past me. its also a 2.4 liter. 04 srt-4 is faster then a 04 rex only reason is that after 2nd we drop off big time. by the way i my car is bone stock.

Still... If you figure 10% drive train loss, that 248 becomes 275 flywheel hp. Dodge would list FOURTY FIVE hp less in advertisements and specs? it just doesn't make any sense.
If this were a Hardy Boys & Nancy Drew book it'd be titled: "The Case Of The Generous Dynamometer".
We just need someone local to dyno a stock 2004 SRT-4.
