Or will I get a nice image of the S U B A R U on the trunk? It's white, and has been meticulously waxed/washed since I got it.

You should be fine. If there is anything just take some polish to it and wax the whole area after... well do that even if theres nothing there anyway.

Thanks guys....it just started to sprinkle when I headed out there...all I got to do was vacuum the interior. to rain!

 

I've been wanting to debadge mine but i'm not sure how too.

Dental floss and a hair dryer. Then use some water + some sort of simple cleaning agent to get rid of the leftover sticky stuff.

And my car was 7 years old when I debadged it and it was still fine. So it doesnt really matter much how old it is.
