Hi, I'm going to be changing my brakes and fluid in a few weeks and wanted to see if someone has a brake fluid bleeder I could borrow.

If you've got one let me know and I'll give you a cash deposit or something, if you want.

The reason I'm doing it in a few weeks is a buddy of mine is helping me, seeing as I've never done this before and he's not available for a little while. However, if someone's passion is to help others out than by all means you are welcome to help me change my brakes and fluid next weekend

Anyhow, let me know about the bleeder-

Oh really? I was looking online and saw them for $40-$60... but then again they were fancy ones

 

you could just use a water bottle and a piece of tubing...

or, you could just use a water bottle and a piece of clear rubber tubing...

 

I'm getting the sense that a water bottle with a piece of clear rubber tubing might just do the trick...

hehe, sorry this is just funny, im changing my brakes too and i just figured out how to do it yesterday. good luck with it.

 

those are the one-man fluid changer thingees where it comes with it's own vacuum pump.

coke can and a piece of tubing. and another person...

oh you need a wrench to crack the screw open.

 

get a water bottle, some tubing, and a coat hanger. drill a hole in the top of the bottle for the tubing, and wrap the coat hanger around the bottle. then just hang the bottle off the suspension, connect the tubing to the bleeder valve, and you should be set.
