Anyone have a Motive Power (Vacuum) Brake Bleeder I can Borrow?
Hey all,
I have some stainless steel brake lines sitting on the shelf, so I figure I should install them before they just collect dust. Does anyone have one of those Motive Power Bleeders (preferably w/the Subaru/Ford specific cap) that I can borrow for a couple days or weekend? I don't track or drive my car hard, so I don't change my fluid often enough to justify buying my own. And I usually only have time to work on my ride really late at night when helpers aren't available to assist w/traditional bleeding.
Anyways, it shouldn't take long for me to install the lines and bleed the fluid, but I'm just asking to borrow for couple days to allow time to return the bleeder to the lender. I'm real considerate when it comes to taking care of other peoples' things, so I'll clean and return it asap! I can offer up a few bucks or give ya a six pack of brewskis or something (21+ up only..sorry, kiddos!)
Thanks in advance,
CL
p.s. I'm in The City.

vacuum bleeder? Don't you mean the Motive Products pressure bleeder? I don't think you can use their extractor to vacuum bleed brakes since their pressure bleeders that you hook up to the brake resevoir on top of the master cylinder use the adapters. I only have an adapter that works on my 00 RS, but no pressure bleeder.
