Can anyone recommend me an Omega AD?
Looking to buy an Omega Planet Ocean 45.5mm - can anyone recommend me an authorized dealer in the area that offers competitive pricing?

Not looking for the chrono or the rose gold one that lists for 20k, just looking a simple one with black dial. The fiance is trying to get me a nice engagement gift to compliment my speedy pro!
There are a few watch stores in Union Square, but I doubt you'll be able to negotiate much, independent jewelers are best for that sort of thing.
You can usually get in on some xx% off type things at Macy's or where ever if you can't talk down a jeweler.

If I was a racecar driver sponsored by omega i would totally just give you one! but unfortunately I'm just a pee on bartender that gets stiffed most of the time ....

Ask someone on here, http://forums.watchuseek.com/index.php
There's an AD at valley fair. Can't remember the name, but it's the store with all the mikimoto pearl jewelry near Louis Vuitton I think. I was in there browsing one day and the lady instantly offered a fairly big discount off MSRP of a PO. Granted msrp's are always jacked up, but they seemed pretty willing to discount the Omegas.
Nice Speedmaster by the way
Also ask around http://www.luxury4play.com/watches/ here. The bay area peeps can either point you in the right direction or you may even find a better deal thru a non-local AD.

The watchuseek forum folks have their "favorite AD" that you can ask about. Or you can PM me. I got my planet ocean from him and was very happy with the price.
plays well with others

Thanks guys- I don't think Amazon is an AD, they're typically grey market, which means either the serial has been filed off or does not include the cards. It's definitely an option, but since the fiance wants to do this without the internet, to avoid any potential issues. We're going the brick and mortar route, which may cost a little more, but will alleviate a lot of concerns.
Its the manual wind omega with hesalite face... it tends to scratch easily, but nothing a little toothpaste can't fix!
AndyF you have PM!

Sent you a reply... the AD is out of state and can be reached on the phone. If you have any qualms about them being "official" you can look them up on Omega's website. The huge bonus for them being out of state is not paying tax. Let me know if you have any questions.
