Sharky: Good luck on getting your claim settled and getting your mods off the car. Hope everything goes well.

Roo: Thanks for sticking up for me, but it's no big deal.

Now let's either find someone to help Sharky out on getting his parts back or just lock this thread

I can help you out tomorrow if you still want it. Just pay my bridge toll and some gas, I have all the equipment we'd need to get your stuff swapped in a few hours. I need to meet a dude from concord tomorrow night anyways, to get my catless on. Whoopty whoo! I'm free from 1pm to whenever. Lots of members here can attest to my ability to do this kind of work quickly and efficiently.

I can vouch for roo's mechanical abilities, he was really good to have when we were monkeying with kev's car.

You guys need to chill it with the drama, damn.

PM me with the specifics as soon as you can, I get off classes at noon.

See, there are still great members here in BAIC. Thank you mulcibre for stepping up and helping a member in need.

I missed this yesterday, but anyways:

The reason people should know a little more info is because none of us want to risk showing up to a shop to do something that we (the helpers) don't know if its legit to do or not. If this was at your house or something, like, tow truck delivered it to your home after the accident, i don't think anyone would care. But personally, and I've met you a few times at autox, I don't want to walk into someone else's shop, not knowing the circumstances. You could easily have the cops called out on you, or get into huge **** with the insurance agency. I think people have a right to know what they are getting into before helping someone they don't know, just so that **** doesn't hit the fan, and all they wanted to do was help someone out. It's just doesn't seems as clean cut to us as you may think.

Glad it all worked out anyways.

Uhhhh you guys are sooo paranoid. If you actually READ my posts you can see i got it authorized by the shop. And my insurance is STILL none of anyones business. But i understand what you are getting at. And what does having met me at an AutoX have anything to do with this? are you trying to insinuate something?

I appreciate the attempt at an explanation but still i don't agree with you. This is not a ****ing inquiry, it was a request for help.

What people need to do is open thier eyes. IF YOU READ MY POSTS I CLEARLY SAY "I got it authorized by the shop and insurance" but insurance was being a pain because it has been a long time. So Is it my business to know how much you make a year? or what medical problems you have? or what girls you sleep with? No it's not, and my stuff is none of your business either.

Please stop trying to cause drama here.

Thank you.

Calm down dude. Gagan is just trying to explain something. He really knows his stuff when it comes to anything automotive. He is in no way trying to create drama.

There are things that are none of peoples business, and when people demand to hear them, it's very insulting.

Do you go around demanding people's information? Do you walk up to people and HARASS THEM when they don't tell you? No you don't. (and if you do i doubt you have many friends)

Why should this be any different.

obviously because you are perpetuating drama by standing up for someone who's speaking and not letting them talk. Sitting here and telling me "Well you shoulda done this because this is how i think it should be IS NOT THE PURPOSE."

Read the title of my article, then read the first message. Is there anywhere in this whole thing that i asked for help with insurance?

Do you go out there and force your help on people who don't want it? Then sit and yell at them when they get angry with what you are doing? Think logically.
