No bueno, I drove through that intersection about 10 times between Friday and yesterday. I always assume around these parts, that people have no F'ing idea what they are doing behind the wheel.
You're a champ for not backslapping that cooz.

Quick Update -

The other party's insurance (AAA) is claiming liability for the accident and will be taking care of everything. The adjuster is checking out the car today to do an estimate and is awaiting me to indicate which shop I want the repairs done at.

Any suggestions? I'm in San Jose.

Not in San Jose but I only take my cars to this shop. They do GREAT work at a fair price as many i-clubbers can attest too.

Quick update - the car has been @ Michael J's for the past two weeks and it'll be another week until she's done. Damage totaled $8,600. The suspension damage was minimal (thankfully) and I'm antsy to take her out again.

Currently I'm driving a POS Nissan Versa which is behind a glass case with a little hammer and is 'break in case of emergency' use only. I literally fart louder than the puny horn. I take the hybrid to commute to work w/ the misses and would rather take my bicycle for short distances than the Versa (I'm sure it reeking like cigarette smoke has something to do with it as well).

Michael J's has been pretty responsive with progress updates and even given me cell numbers of everyone involved to contact with any questions. I've confirmed that they ARE the place to go if you want to take who's paying to the cleaners. Since I've recently received my BC BRs, I've asked them to quote me a coilover install (might as well since they have my car). It looks like it will only cost me $800 for the install (and maybe more depending on the type of coils).

Yea... right... I'm glad I'm not paying for repairs.

Once she's back in my hands I'll update with pics and feedback on the quality of their work. Fck I really can't wait, 98hp is getting real old real quick.
