Yea I said if he wanted to start a thread calling out hungry for flaking on him, then sure why not. To be honest I would just write it off. Give them negative trader feedback, point to your threads and move on. Loosing $40 is not the worst thing. It could be worse. I got scammed out of $350 bucks on nasioc several years ago. Now that sucked. But what can one do? Just write it off and move on.

That way it will flag them and when you see them post another for sale thread just post a link to your thread.

You should leave negative feedback on their profiles and we should have moderators request to put a special title under their names that say "scammer".
They can get the title removed when they prove themselves to not be, which will be very difficult.

i mean i feel for the OP, if i lost 42 bucks i would be hurttin being that i have a kid and wife and sometimes 42 bucks was all i needed to get outta trouble you know.
but if you were buying subs with it and you are driving around a sti, if you cant afford to lose 40 on something stupid you pry shouldnt have tried to buy it anyway.
if thats the case man let it go. i would go with bruselees idea and see if you could get anywhere with that

I was scammed for $2,0000 dollars once. . .42 bux is bleh. . .now you know to use PAYPAL ONLY! Unless your paying up front and get to see the item your looking at. 97 percent of online/craiglist scams are done from money order/checks. Sorry to hear!
