lol.... yes if it was OEM 02-07 wheels however.. i do understand that 11+ wrx wheels are worth about my asking price.. so i wouldnt automatically reject an reasonable offer but he did ask for $150 on top because of his new tires... well either way.. i cant believe he is a local subaru member. (not sure if hes in iclub or not) but he is within the local subaru community....

Dude is clearly mentally deficient or really trying to scam you. He keeps trying to distract you from the issue of him using potentially stolen money to pay for goods. Not a single statement was a concession to your requirements, but rather one to make you change or ignore them. He also applies time-pressure by saying he can pay you "today, instantly, but only by paypal" as if it's up to him when the sale is made and how he chooses to pay for it.
You can trust paypal, all their shady crap is written in black and white and you accept it when you make an account. You can't trust Joe Blow with his daddy's paypal account that he can't even prove he has the right to use.
Stick to your guns and forget this loser. If he's an I-clubber I'd like to know who he is so I can avoid him.

Now look here, my son/daughter has told you repeatedly and repeatedly to follow the said rules if you wish to buy the car wheels.* We taught him these rules and your behavior is now borderline harassing a minor. You reply with an insulting tone more than once and now I and Paypal are involved. Stop interacting with my kid or we call the Police.

When you buy something with paypal you don't have to provide any information so I can see how the guy would be irritated.
Secondly I guess you just have to take his word that his paypal account is good once you get the money, as he will have to trust your wheels aren't bent/ don't have damage that doesn't show up until on the balancer.
If I were him after that I'd ask you to sign something that if the wheels are bent or show up out of balance you will refund my money in cash.
That being said, he should just be paying in cash like every other craigslist transaction.
