C.F. Wheels
So I was shooting the S*&t with my friends and someone mentioned something about a C.F. wheels. I did a little research online and came up with this:
http://www.carzi.com/2008/10/01/carbon-fiber-wheels/
Apparently the C.F. market has been changing. Wanted to see what people were thinking of these. They are expensive now running 5-10k per wheel but will get cheaper as time goes on and maybe just maybe I can put them on my RS.

carbon fiber is used to earthquake reinforce buildings and parking garages so I'm sure on wheels its fine. It does have fatigue rates so I don't know I'd do it on a daily driver unless I was a mad baller. But for track use it seems like it will have a future.
I'd think with molds and new vacuum and try molding technologies it'd be useable. Hell a company I was working with to do my hoods when I was a honda guy makes aircraft parts. Landing gear and what not.
I wouldn't expect prices to come down much as demand just isn't high for things like that.
