I test drove the model with the paddle shifter and found it not as engaging. So I got it in stick with the LSD. I wonder if they made it better for 09?

Infiniti FTW, they are pretty darn quick. Drove a co-workers dealer loaner not too long ago.

Get her an Audi A4 or A5. for 35-40k there is nothing that beats it for safety and overall quality. The Infinity is a joke, seriously an absolute joke. I'm a bit shocked people are recommending it. I know people who own it who don't even like it. I think there's better driver's cars (the A5 for starters).

HOWEVER the new Volkswagen CC is absolutely STUNNING. Seriously. It looks slick as ****, drives like a dream and is easily the best competition for an Audi.

I've spent the last 3 months driving every model of car I can get my hands on and for overall daily driving those are both excellent choices. Seriously, go out and drive an A5 and a G37 back to back, I would be surprised if having driven them back to back you would still want the G37.

Audi and quality in one sentence? nice pm rau on that one. He might think differently.
That was my main reason why I didn't get an Audi. The lack of reliability. The amount of complains I kept hearing from friends who've owned them made me think twice. Love the cars and like I said I was looking at an S4 avant but their history scares me.

You're comparing a G37 with an A5? A coupe vs. a sedan?
You should be comparing the G37 to an A4 instead of the A5.

no point in your mom getting the is350 when "speed" and performance is not something she thinks about. I would go for the is250 awd, its about $7k less and you can get it with a 6 speed and awd. They are also 235hp so its not slow.

And for the people hating on the g37 are on crack, I work with a guy that has one and its a dream to drive it!

A5 is a coupe :V A6 and A4 are sedans. Before you try to burn do some research.

There's not a ton of track record data on the A5 cause it's new. I challenge you to drive them back to back and say the Infiniti is a superior vehicle bottom line. Everyone has horror stories about different brands. You can find them on the G37 too.

Yes I know what an A5 is. My neighbor has one. But let me correct myself since I guess I was incorrect in my post.

G37 = sedan
A5 = coupe

You can't compare a coupe (Audi A5) to a sedan (Infiniti G37)
A better comparison would be an Audi A4(4 door sedan) and the Infinti G37(4 door sedan)

Yes I've driven both of them. I wasn't too impressed with the A5 to be honest. S5 is a different story. Looking at the A5 when you try to price it loaded you'll blow past that 30-40k price range.
Yes there isn't history on the A5's but if you look at the other cars from Audi one tends to cringe. Yes all cars have their horror stories (RS4, G37, 335.. etc) but it's about trying to pay for the services outside your warranty. German luxo cars always cost more to service then a luxo Japanese car. Something I'm sure the OP is considering. But maybe the OP doesn't care how much service is going to cost.

Was there something I said to you in my post that made you think I was trying to burn you? I didn't think so. Sorry if it came out that way.
