Buying a 05 WRX?
Should I wait till Sept. when the 05's supposedly go on clearance? Is the price difference really that much different? What should I know about buying? I'm planning on going to Carlsen Subaru since thats the closest (besides the dreaded Steven's Creek) with a lot of good experiences.

Carlsen will do you alright. Wait if youre looking to get an '05. You should be able to save about 3,000 on a closeout. Especially with the "new look" showing up on the lots. SOA will want to clear out the old and in with the new.

I got my '05 from Stevens Creek subaru "internet dept." and got the car for ~22K back in November of '04. Get a quote online from a dealership, then call them and ask about splitting up the other fees, i.e. advertisement, manuf. rebate to dealer, etc, etc.
If I was shopping for a WRX, I would definitely go with '03-'05 year. I do not like the styling of the '06 year car.
