Actually, so does the left rear when I have to dodge a speeding GDA coming back onto turn 1. Wait til the drift clip comes up.

That GDA clip is kinda crazy. You have to watch it twice to see all that is goin' on. Kev is like e-brakin' or just hit the brakes hard and the left rear is smokin' bigtime! Then you got 1WRX2NV bombin' off track!

Yeah. By that point in the day I had turn 1 down pretty well, so I was hitting it pretty near the limits of my car/tires. When I realized Freddie's car was going off, then realized it might be coming back on the track, I was trying to get back over right. All while trailbraking into a fast corner expecting to slide out to the berm. If you look closely you'll see I got a 10 or 15 degree slip angle goin there tryin to get around him.

So, who was in the Gunmetal wagon? My friend almost got a "snap shot" of him going into another cloud of smoke!!

But I must admit, I was learning from him when I was behinde him in the the "S's" before the Starting straight. I was able to go throught them alot faster after I saw him do it.

Yeah, I only thought he might try to come back on for a split second, but he was apparently smart enough to just let it go once he got 2 wheels off. If he had forgotten we were there and tried to save it (like I think the poor kid with the red WRX did) I wasn't even close to far enough away. And the save wasn't *that* impressive to me on video... it was only slightly different from what I had been doing in that turn all day. But I felt good about being able to react fairly quickly and adjust what the car was doing. Makes me feel like all this track time and autocrossing really is making me a better, safer driver when I'm behind the wheel.

That was Steppin Razor. He was actually doing quite well, considering he was running in B group, at buttonwillow, at his first ever track day. I was talking with him and Gary Sheehan late in the afternoon, and Gary mentioned that in spite of his offs, he was quite impressed with Tim's driving considering his experience on a track.

Sweet!! Same with my friend Mike. It was his first track event ever and he was doing hella good in B class. I guess back roads, San Felipe, and Hwy 9 paid off for him. He smokes street bikes in his stock wagon up Hwy 9 too.....or well he used to. He calmed down alot

Nice video.

Since your video only highlights my more noteworthy exploits you should have been there when I had to pit for that "Rally" experience... I was so frazzled from acting like a newb and going in too hot on my FIRST LAP (didn't learn the course and conditions first) and the fact that Freddie was verbally assaulting me and kicking my helmet in... I then stalled in the pit in front of the tower spectators... x 1000

Then the beast (freddies car) was angry with me and wouldn't turn over the first time... then the clutch was hot and I couldn't get it off smoothly at slow speeds....

I loved it. I can't wait until next time.

FYI...I just drove the WorldOne car (had the Do-Luck stickers and huge cf rear wing on it) at the SCC Time Attack yesterday. We were running the same track configuration, but clockwise. The best time I turned was a 2:00.41. It's a pretty quick car!

How much are you free to tell us about the SCC time attack, Gary?
