Bushings/Mounts/Bracing

Hi guys,

Only suspension related mods I have on my 2013 WRX Hatch are kartboy endlinks and whiteline front and rear sway bars.

I am thinking to get the following and was looking for everyone's 2 cents:

Cusco Front Member Power Brace
Whiteline Steering Rack Bushings
Whiteline Anti Lift Kit
STI Transmission Mount

Lastly, positive traction kit (one of the following):
Whiteline Rear Subframe Positive Traction Kit Subaru Models
Whiteline Rear Positive Traction Kit

Preference, pros/cons between the two?

Thoughts on everything as a whole/anything to look out for?

Edit: I have heard mixed things on getting steering rack bushings on a new car ( I am under 10,000miles)

I suggest getting steering rack bushings, pitch stop mount (before the tranny mount), you dont really need the ALK but if you really want it... go for it its loud AS. Even before the ALK I would suggest subframe traction kit.. I believe those are the insertable bushings right?

+1. if you are lowered, id go with bumpsteer, ALK, steering rack bushings. Add some aftermarket endlinks with sways and some fender braces...mmmmmm

Is the bump steer kit the same as the roll center kit whiteline has?
I want to do their roll center kit ball joints. But everything else I want group n so its not loud as hell. Nvh ftl. Going to be attempting to sound proof the entire car soon and sound deadening for sound system.

It is, however you need to make sure you are pretty damn low to install them... Otherwise you're just going to mess up your experience driving your car. Main reason I didn't install mine (and considering to sell) is that I'm not low.. You have to be like 1.5" low or some odd number like for them to actually function as they should

Also forgot to mention to newer suspension doesn't actually require an ALK you can still use the stock one and be happy however, I would not suggest even going ALK until you've done other things and then think about if you want an ALK on a newer car

yep. same kit. and as Oshrizak mentioned, to really gain from its use, you gotta be damn low. Like me. 2-3 lips quarterly. LOL stock height, outer tie rods are in a different position than when lowered. theoretically, you are straightening the tie rod in relation to knuckle and steering rack, which will take up some slack. thats the way i see it. i have WRX subframe and rack that i may install entire whiteline prod in the rack before isntall. those rack bushings are a PITA!

correct. I had to install them on my car because I'm significantly lower than stock ride height. my tie rods were at a pretty steep angle. This caused me to lose steering response. Putting the bump steer kit in helped realign my tie rods to very close to parallel to the ground giving back my steering response.

You chose all good kits but try looking into superpro instead of whiteline. I've heard their production is losing quality control. On my my12 I have all those bushings installed and then some. The rack bushings are not as necessary for a new car (but you will feel a little improvement if you're sensitive like me). On my STI there isn't a ALK but a caster kit instead, and this makes huge diff. Lca bushings will make big diff too. Subframe inserts are very good, with acceptable nvh. The replacement bushings are too stiff. H brace is good, but u will not feel it unless you are driving 8/10. U will love the gr n bushings esp the tranny mount and pitch stop. Also look at the posi shift kit and shifter bushings. Big improvement but there is nvh, very loud gear whine. This also improves the shifting feel and accuracy if you do a lot of rev matching like I do. The positive diff traction is good and you will lose the slop from the back and the clunking of the diff. But u should drive it stock for a little longer to get an idea of it can do stock before swapping parts. Expensive lol

Do yourself a little favor and look here

with suspension, if T I C doesn't carry it, it's probably not worth owning

My car has the whole catalog of whiteline bushings, sway bars, blah blah blah. Never had any fitment issues except for one part that shouldn't have been labeled for my car.

Also, roll center made a HUGE difference driving Palomares rd every day.

Ive heard some bushings should never be made out of poly as some things need a little flex. Anyone tried rallytech's group n bushing kit?
