as far as the nurse goes, and if she has a medical degree no wonder if she runs a hospital or something, tons of money there. Mayors don't usually make that much money, same with president?

car washers, transportation mechanics make some good $$$. I remember talking to someone at a UCKK meet and he was explaining to me some of the costs.

you guys don't know the 1/2 of it, when it comes to outrageous $alarie$+wage$ in The City. there are guys w/yearly takes DEEP into the 6-figure$ for literally doing NOTHING!

it's no wonder they're broke and trying to charge people for improperly throwing out their trash!

Damn, no wonder San Francisco does not have much of a financial district/industry, it just does not pay to put in the effort and the hours with these types of jobs available

I would say that sounds more like bad money management and not living within your means rather than not making enough money...

are you kiddng?? SF's Financial District is one of the most productive in the nation.....more than LA and only rivaled by #1, NYC & possibly Chicago & Boston....but I would even take a shot and say we're #2.
::
but i thought the real topic at hand was City employee compen$ation, in which case, you guys are still off (no offense)
many of the top City earners are cops, firefighters, & Muni guys that earn a bunch from OT, but, as i mentioned, there are MANY, MANY employees earning MULTIPLE 6-figure$ for doing NOTHING. people would & SHOULD be very p!ssed at all the $$ The City is wasting. its financial woes have not been brought upon just suddenly by the economic downturn. the REAL prob$ have always been there and will continue to rear their ugly head$ long after things turn around for the masses.
::
::
p.s. don't ask me how i know about this. i just do.

I don't know if you would want to, its a nasty, super hot, oil refinery that is basically a bomb going off constantly that is somehow held back from complete disaster by thick metal walled pressure vessells. But it pays well...
