Bullet Proof Vests?

I remember a while back someone PM'd me and asked me if I wanted to buy some current GI issued bullet proof vests and at the time I didn't have a job and I was going to Europe... but different story now. I have no idea who that was cuz I cleaned out my PM box. I'd like to buy 3 of them if the offer still stands.

Usually vests have to be fitted to your body like a suit jacket to work the best. I have a Level II vest with stab protection that I bought from a guy who sells nothing but tactical gear. He also fitted the vest to me so it fits perfectly. I can give you his info if you really want one. They cost tho...

Yeah, I know they have to fit well. The standard GI large fits me perfectly. Nice and snug...

Might as well get a PASGT Kevlar helmet too, while you're at it.

They dont have current issue vests. Just older gen vests. They typically go for $150-200 (for the older ones). Newer ones are in the area of $700.

They aren't cheap....I paid a lot for one....it was a jacket that was custom tailored and armored for full upper torso protection includiing neck that I bought from a nut in FL when I lived there that thought WW3 was coming but yeah I paid a grip for it....Body armor is very expensive but very nice to have if you're into that type of thing.

are you talking about a flak vest or the actual vest with the amor plating?

if its the flak vest, those vest are useless. And the kevlar helment sure is useless too. only stop ricochets
