Alumalite works great. Or you can do carbon:





I bought this from Maier Racing in Hayward. They can make whatever size you want. Just give them a cardboard cutout or dimensions. Tell them Karlton with the Subaru sent you

McMaster - Carr is also a great resource for raw materials and they are located in SoCal.

I've purchased CF rods to make strut braces with, super-fine SS mesh for intakes and hood scoops, alumilite, etc. If you can dream it, McMaster has it.

They are freaking great!!! I have been to their will call a few times

Is the shape of that a u shape. Or is it a flat bottom back pasted the oil pan. It looks open in the pic.

Mine is just like a D shape due to the SCCA rules I have to go by. They can certainly make any shape you wish. Mine was originally just for a widebody mustang lol.
