Building a splitter

I'm in the planning point of making my front splitter. I have tossed around a few ideas for what to use. I have used plastic, carbon and alum in the past. And this time around I am looking for carbon sheets. I can not find anything at least local. Tap Plastics has thin sheets... not even close for what I need.

The goal is to make a splitter for the front. Basically 6 inches out in the front and then go back to the transmission area.

Then using a aluminum skeleton to attach it to the sub frame I am running.

I also need to look at making sure my oil cooler gets air and then add some ducts to send fresh cool air to the brakes.

So anyone on I-club have hook ups with any honeycomb carbon sheets?? If not I'll just go back to using the plastic stuff. I have a huge list to get done before the next event. And this is one of them.

I don't have hook ups with honeycomb carbon sheets but can help with custom fabs

I have looked into them. They want over $800 for one that will fit my zerosports bumper. I think I can make something better for less...

Could you laminate several of the thin ones from Tap Plastics together, or would it be super heavy?

Yeah it would be too heavy. The honeycomb carbon is the ticket. Otherwise its back to the drawing board.
