Good god, that is awesome. Do you do all of that with like a woodburning pen or something? That must take ages to do....

Here's my XD .40 that Ray worked on...

He stippled the grip, made cutouts for the mag (which have actually come in handy), polished the ramp and chamber, and he did some painting ;-) I was impressed when he was done and I am still impressed today. I highly recommend using Ray for anything that he can do.

XD-M's aren't available in Kalifornia.

They have not submitted for the drop test yet and have no immediate plans to do so. They also have not made a 10 round magazine for it yet. This comes directly from SA.

Several COncord P.D. officers got theirs. Looks good so far. Barrel to slide lock up is very good. Should be a good shooter.

Ray did the same exact stuff to my Glock 17... Changed my love for that pistol into love and obsession! Seriously, its an amazing piece of work!

Edit: Two things I love about what Ray did is the stippling on the frame right under the etched word "AUSTRIA"... Its a little section that is stippled so that I can rest my index finger there (it prevents me from shooting to the left), and I LOVE the fact that he textured the trigger guard since I always rest my trigger finger on it and now it doesn't have a chance of slipping off when my hands are super sweaty/etc.

And lets not forget the main reason I had the stippling done, the grip has improved like 10 fold. It's like the difference of having a stock seat in your car, and then replacing it with a recaro racing seat. No joke.

EDIT: I almost forgot to mention how much I love the grip strips that he put onto the slide serrations on the rear of the slide! SOOOO much easier to **** back the slide... Simple and effective, just like the Glock itself.

LEO's are exempt from the BS Kalifornia rules regarding handgun purchases.

John Q Citizen cannot buy an XD-M in Kalifornia until it passes the test and comes with a 10 rd magazine.

SA told me this isn't even on the horizon.

Please send them an email or call. The more of us that show interest, the faster they'll get it done.

A way to get around the CA D.O.J. BS is to have someone (that lives out of state) buy the gun out of state. Then do a private party transfer here. As long as the high cap mags are not in the gun, the P.P.T. will be legal (according to CA DOJ).
