broke bay area snowboarder, HELP!

OK, i know there is a post similar to this but, this is more about cost. The other post is more about performance.

ok, so, i'm looking for good snow/all weather tires to get to tahoe this season, but for a resonable price. im looking for the best quality but also for the best price because i am a broke little man.

please dont move this post, want feedback from bayarea snow goers

THANKS FOR YOURE INPUT!

I think that Kumho Ecsta ASX's are what you are looking for.

If you are truly broke, just buy someone's old stockers.

i agree, just as long as the stockers are in ok condition.

from your responses, i know you're lookin' for a quality tire at good prices, but usually, price and quality are directly proportional.

^^^^ +1.... you cant have a cheap, but great all season tire. got to be willing to spend a little cash. americas tires finances if that helps at all.

word, thanks guys. Better start saving. And paying current tires off *cough*. i Heard these gforce summer tires i have are actually somewhat reliable in snow, even though they aren't rated for it.

summer tires aren't made to withstand those temperatures. It can't be good for the tire going through those temp cycles

I did re92s for a couple years with no issue. Or you could be a CL eagle-eye and find someone selling practically new Blizzaks for super cheap like I did a couple years back. Recommend the second option
