yep on aug 1 ill be leaving out of the bay, and from around early feb, ill be in s.korea/japan for about 3 years doing some mechanic work for the u.s. military. ill be living in korea, but visiting japan often. yea ill be leaving the edo mobile here with my parents so they can start it up like once a week, but im also planning on bringing back a car from japan since the military ships my belongings/vehicle with no charge. i need to find out more details about the process of registering in ca, etc but i think im planning on registering it as a track or show car. well goodluck to you guys in baic and hope zoeb doesnt cause too much trouble

As for your car...you're really gonna store a car for 3 years? Why not sell it and stick the cash in a savings account and make some money off it. Come back with your JDM car and buy a cool daily driver...whatever is pimp in 3 years.

Storing anything that's not a "classic" for 3 years seems dumb to me....but that's just me.

Beyond that...how about you ship us some parts from time to time. I want some JDM wagon rims and some fog lights....that's about it...I'll be easy. haaaa.

i was thinking of selling it, but then i would think i loose a lot of money off of what i can sell it for and how much time/money i spent into it. i still love the wrx and am planning to invest another 5k into it when i return as a fun weekend car. about the savings, know anywhere that gives you more than 1% interest?
