Thumbs down Brakedust...what can be done?

well my beautiful Silver Sub-zeroes can go maybe a week before they look like they're gun-metal. blech!

I ask you I-clubbers, what can be done?
is it just something that has to do with the stock brakes....all brakes?

What about eventually upgrading to Stop-Tech or even Brembos?

I know I'd have to switch rims if I wanted Brems but is the dust factor just as bad?

thx

Wax your wheels when they are brand new, with a couple coats...and clean them often.

Yea wax your wheels, get bronze, gunmetal or black rims. Also I've heard that ceramic brake pads will produce little or no dust. Lastly a good cleaner that I used myself on my P1's is Eagle 1 wheel and tire cleaner (can be found at Kragen and other auto stores).
