Brake light staying on while driving??

Has anyone else run into this problem? For some reason when i'm driving normal my brake light will turn on and remain on for a while. The car seems fine when i brake and it drives normal. I know before when I had my corolla the battery light meant the alternator was pretty much shot. but i'm not sure about what the brake light remaining on means. please help! thanks in advance!

stuck brake switch...

how old/mileage is the car?

wait... is this the BRAKE light on the dash? stuck PARKING brake switch then... much easier to R&R...

edit #2. on toyotas well at least on my 4runner, the brake master cylinder had a float switch that was activated when the fluid was getting low and would activate the BRAKE light on the dash.

also, check your fuses. if you abs fuse or your brake fuse goes out, it will stay on.

rememeber, 99% of the time, low fluid doesnt really mean you are losing fluid...

it means your PADS are low.
