Rodriguez told a local TV station that the 5-foot-11, 195-pound Marman, 20, "was not threatening anybody directly," but the airline's dress code forbids "indecent exposure or inappropriate" attire, and "being disruptive" in any fashion once on the plane may interfere with the crew. He was charged with trespassing, battery and resisting arrest, and was being held on $11,000 bail ahead of a scheduled arraignment Thursday afternoon.
Hope he sues. Its not indecent for him to sag his pants. They directly state that only his boxers were showing (no skin). Its no different than wearing basketball shorts on a plane.

Never understood the sagging bit. To me it looks like you're too lazy and walk bow legged just so they don't fall further lol.

IDK either. Can't do it on the street. But to be honest, I do it snowboarding. Just the style. Don't think it's a big deal as it doesn't bother me in anyway and boxer shorts are no more indecent than any other shorts.

I actually noticed that a lot of black dudes at my college would sag their pants (no homo) but have basketball shorts on underneath. This made me think that they might be doing that to evade the indecent exposure law.

You actually sag your pants below your ***? You butt is fully exposed? Sagging is one thing, just hanging them low on your waist. But it's a whole other thing when you have your pants down around your knees with your butt hanging out. He got what he deserved.

i figure it like this if they can kick a guy off a plane for sagging his pants but still having his skin physically covered. the next step is not allowing women who are showing cleavage on a plane. if i have a size 30 waist and want to wear some 44x36 jeans thats my right, if you dont like it thats your right. the issue shouldnt be whats a "legal" amount of sagging but the fact no one gives a **** that we are slowly having our rights taken away from us.

So quick to blame TSA when they had nothing to do with this situation.

The right to refuse service. All business have this ability. Did he have to get arrested, no. If he had either, pulled up his pants or left the plane than he wouldn't have been arrested. He chose to be ignorant, he got what came to him.

Indeed, but its not just this instance, theres so much more of this sensationalized bull **** going on now than in any time Ive been alive. no one reads and analyze anything anymore to form their own opinions, they just read a headline, gauge the reaction from the mob, and join in. Its ****ing scary, use your heads people, seriously.

Big picture brah, big picture.

He boarded the plane after he was instructed he was not allowed on until he pulled up his pants ("The employee asked Marman to pull up his pants before he boarded the plane, but he refused, Rodriguez said. Marman allegedly repeated his refusal after taking his seat on the plane."). The airline is a BUSINESS, If they want to say "You must abide by this dress code before entering our property" they are well within their rights to do so. It isn't like he was arrested on the street.

I understand the big picture and I also understand that he followed their rules and wasnt indecent. Guess we'll see how it plays out in court when he decides to sue.
