if u are selling the bov to a friend, why are u still trying to raise the price and sell it to someone else here? some friend huh?

There is no friend, he posted the BOV and realized that he wasn't asking enough for it. So he made up the story about a friend wanting it for more money to see if anyone was still interested @ $160, which is still a fair price. Then he probably thought, well ****, $160, why not just ask $180, which is too much for that BOV IMO. But I am sure he thought that through also, he probably figured well ****, if I post it for $180, someone will offer me $160 and I will be happy with that.

 

perhaps you guys should use your wallet to talk rather than your mouths. i just had someone pick up both the bov and the **** for 200.

that is exactly right, i didnt mean to disrespect you guys or anything like that, I just thought I might post the sale on here so you guys might have a chance but no one really said , hey I'll be there tomarrow morning to pick it up! everyone was just I'll take email me back or something.

this forum was not the only place i advertised the sale. I own a car audio business so i know many people in the trade and I really sold that thing minutes after making a few phone calls.

But obviously some people do not understand the ways of business.

you obviously don't b/c if you did you would understand why he changed his original post.... $100 is too cheap to let it go for and he realized he could get more so he asked for more...sure helping out people by selling parts @ a cheap price is a nice thing to do for other board members, but ****, not everyone can afford it like you

Just cuz your parents own businesses doesnt mean you understand business, my parents own 4 businesses and I still don't completly understand their businesses....plus what the hell does your parents carpet business have to do with the business known as reselling parts?

so if we gave a quote for windows, and the price was lower than what our cost would be, you are suggesting i should just tell the customer, oh sorry its going to cost u more cuz i'm a dumbass and can't give u the price that i offered to sell it for?
