I wish I could jump to Verizon for the Incredible. But I have 5 phones under my plan, so at any given time, 3 of them are under contract. Having to pay for another master plan with Verizon just doesn't make sense... I hope AT&T gets the HTC Desire soon.. I'm hearing probably May, June at the latest.

Battery life could be better though.

Just got confirmation that Android OS2.2 should be dropping this quarter for current Android phones that arent already running on it and it will be an OTA update.

^That's how I was up until a year ago. When I changed area codes they screwed up porting the numbers to our phones and my wife's number was reversed with mine. By the time we figured it out and called support, they couldn't get me back on my media max plan
So pissed.

Only problem I have been having with my Incredible is the frequent (5 or 6 times so far) crash of com.android.mms
Any one with any expertise would be appreciated.

I love mine. The battery does die fast if you are constantly playing games and have everything turned on. But if you turn off the GPS and use it for phone calls and texting, the battery will last about a day. But so far I don't have any complaints.
weird how the att version of the galaxy s.. which as mentioned is the captivate, has a much bit more dimmer screen, despite any setting changes, also can't install non-market apps, compared to the TMO version = vibrant.
also did it come with a microSD card included? i heard it didnt, the tmo version did, and has avatar the movie preinstalled on it.
it's like ATT is telling us that buy the iphone4 or go to a diff network with their better android phones
but yes Android FTW, regardless.
can anyone who is on ATT confirm that the cheap data plans work on the Android phones.. not IMEI blacklisted like the iphones.
and when i mean cheap data plans, there IS a $10, AND a $15 UNLIMITED data plan. of course this is not meant for smart phones, but i've had it on a smart phone for years. doubt you can get it any longer. It's normally $15, you can lower it to $10 if you have unlimited txt for entire family plan.

I picked up my Captivate last Sunday, so far lovin it. And yes, it came with the 16GB internal SD Card and you can add additional SD card to the external slot. AT&T specs 16GB, but Samsung says >32GB and I have heard of a couple people so far getting 32GB cards to work just fine.
I dunno about the screen brightness being less, mine is very bright if I turn up. Not sure about the cheap data plans, I have the $30 unlimited.
