I am hoping to make it. Maybe I can drive El Grand Bano's car. The big news is the 6 speed is going! I'll be back to STX when my car is ready. I look forward to meeting you Gagan!

there is sometimes helmets you can borrow for exchange of your driver license. but there are only about 3-5 on hand at any given event.

I will be buying one for myself in a few weeks. I plan to do as many auto-X courses as i possibly can, and I also have the buttonwillow subaru track ay in march, so i've decided to purchase my own helmet.

I some how managed to break the uber 6 speed!! I don't quite know how it happened, but the center diff seems to be toast....

did you use the ebrake a lot while driving? (drifts/hairpains)

Nope, not even once. They only thing I can think of is that it was defective. It only lasted about 10-15k miles. I was thinking maybe I had one of the rare 4.44 trannys and I am running a 3.90 rear, but if that was the case I think the diff would have gone out long ago. So I am crossing my fingers that it was just the diff that is the only problem.

wow! that sucks.. you were pretty damm quick in that 6-speed too.

I got rid of my 6-speed too

In fact, I got rid of those flashy gold rims, pink struts, 2.5l.... etc...

I went back to my autox roots and traded for an EVO....

The cornering power of the EVO is very very nice.. I now understand why they are so quick on the autox course...

Chris, you traded in the STi already? What was so wrong with it to decide to get out of it so quickly? Detonation? Evo is better autoX'n? You joined the Car A Month Club?
