Body Shop Recommendation In the East Bay

Hi everyone,

I was recently involved in an accident and the insurance claim finally got settled so I can go fix my car. The accident: a civic swerved to avoid a bmw 530 (that changed lanes w/o looking) and hit my car in the process.

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for body shops in the east bay and possibly the penninsula (I'm willing to drive a bit for a good shop) for a good repair shop. I live in hayward, but anywhere from Fremont to Berkeley would be ok, and also across the bridge in the San Mateo area.

The damage is on the passenger side bumper, wheel well, fender, headlight, and foglight.

I did a search and saw Bay Bridge Motors in Oakland, H&H Collision in Oakland, and County Auto Body in San Carlos... anyone have experience with them (what kind of damage, repair time, satisfied?, etc.)?

An insurance friendly place would be ideal (State Farm).

Thanks in advance!

everyone is going to say Creative Kustoms so might want to start there. They're in San Jose.

try Hayward Auto Body on Mission Blvd. they did my '04 STi right/front and left/rear.

i was in the fast lane and a lexus tried to cut me off with little room in between me and the car in front. his left/rear made contact with my right/front...forcing me into the center divide...which sent my left rear scraping the center wall...B*stard...!!! I was able to give his license plate to chp... long story short, i ended up getting my deductable back from my insureance comp. they must have found the idiot.

anyway they took real good care of my car, and i swear, it looked better than when i first got it (used). they are on the expensive side, but it was worth it!!! my insurance company covered everything.

their number is 510-538-6700

good luck!!!

Hayward A/B is also a State Farm program shop (I just checked on their website) I have also always had good experience in dealing with them for my work (insurance).
