Body Shop in the North Bay

I know there is a thread on here about body shops in the north bay, but I can't find it to save my life. I'm getting my bumper replaced because I had a little run in with a masked bandit. I remember people saying that G&C needs to be avoided, but I can't remember where they recommended. Please advise.

Where specifically in the North Bay?

We work with most reputable (and some not quite so) shops anywhere from Berkeley to San Francisco to Santa Rosa, to Vallejo...

...give me a specific location, and I'll give you a recommendation.

Example: Novato has Thorsson's Auto Body, who does a lot of business with LIC Motorsports, or Petaluma has Gulick's Auto Body, or Santa Rosa has Advance Tech (two locations), among many others.

San Rafael has a LOT of choices, first among them being either F. Lofrano & Sons (Harbor Street, San Rafael), Blake's Auto Body (31 Bay St., San Rafael), Northgate Auto Body (40 Paul Drive, San Rafael).

I'm right on the border of Rohnert Park and Santa Rosa, so I can go either way.

Advance Tech South
Todd Rd. west of the 101 freeway
Santa Rosa

Blakes Rohnert Park
5500 State Farm Drive
Rohnert Park

Avoid G&C in Santa Rosa...PITA to work with in any capacity.

Avoid Lou Saare (however it's spelled) in Santa Rosa
bad history of stiffing OEM parts suppliers
allegedly orders stuff to get the invoice, returns it and
uses aftermarket parts...among other things.

In central Santa Rosa, there's Dibble's on College Ave just west of the freeway.

How long do you think a bumper replacement is going to take. I'm wondering if I'll be needing a rental.

Two to three business days to order/receive the bumper (we don't currently have one in stock), and probably a few days to prime, paint and install. If I were you, I'd have them order it while you keep the car, then when the part comes in, you bring in your car for a couple of days.
