I did some searches and couldn't find anything. Has anybody ever heard of an engine failure on a stock EJ20T? All the engine failures I have read about have been on modded engines.

 

why do you ask? i heard about one guy who blew his turbo with only the intake silencer removed! it is on a forum here somewhere

 

On the other forum, there was a stock wrx with 3000 miles who spun a bearing. Can't remember where I saw it though.

well i had some engine problems, and now i have a new motor. my up pipe came apart and shelled out my turbo. but then green valley subaru did some shotty work and subaru of santa cruz ended up having to replace my engine.
