Thats crazy. They should replace the unit if its defective. If it is unmarried I don't see why they are charging you that relicensing fee or is the $200 a replacement fee?

to examine is a bse 40 dollar fee. then to fix the problem, it can cost up to 300 dollars.

if i decided to buy a new cobb accessport v2, they will give me 200 dollars off if i send in my broken ap with the wires.

yea it really sucks.

hyper29, you can buy a 05sti v1 ap or a v2 sti ap.
the v1's are year specific but i dont think the v2's are. check on cobb's website though.

I have seen in other threads people bring up the cables. Did you try it out with a different cable to see if that was the issue?

yea... sadly Mike at GST tried 2 of his cables which he uses everyday.
