BIG props to Lowball
Yo, Lance (lowball) got me this snowboard a few months ago w/ bindings for 170.
I'm like cool, I only picked it up last week as he held it for me the whole time, and went boarding with it this weekend. Plug: what a trustworthy guy; I'd recommend people doing business with him anytime.
Man that board rocks. Had a few problems with the right binding coming off but for 170 who cares. I have no knowledge of boards but it's an M3 Discord 158 which aparently retails for 470 dollars. Kickass. What a cool guy. Although I took a few chunks off the bottom going over rocks...
so BTW, anyone know of a good repair shop in the San Ramon Valley?

Yes, Lance is an awesome guy!
I'll be seeing if he can try to get me a nice setup soon also... We've only been talking about it since august, and now the snow is here, and it's time for me to get my own setup. He knows of some good board shops, and has good knowledge about boarding.

Thanks for the love mang!
If you need any help with the bindings let me know, cuz they shouldn't have come off in anyway. It's possible the ratchet device was on wrong. It's kinda different from other bindings. You have to lock it down when you're done ratching and if you put the male tounge in the wrong way it can slip out.
Next time you go up maybe I can meet you if you want and give you some tips and make sure you have everything working right.
Late,

hey guys,
What degree setting do you use on the bindings if you want to go down a mountain versus on freestyle terrain? Because I found it kind of hard to ride fakie and switch and stuff when the feet were angled forward, how's it supposed to be?
Or is it mainly just personal preference?

I think I'm running about 15/3 (f/r) to 21/6 depending on which board I'm using. I can ride fakie regardless just by changing body position. Also since I have big feet, and don't ride a wide board, I have to becareful of my angles.
Ridding more str-8 across angles does help for park riding.
