Big O tires in Pleasanton (dublin blvd)

So I got a flat on my brand new tires, I drove it to the gas station, probably around 1 mile away, going no more than 30mph the whole way. I probably should've just tolled it, but thought i could make it without doing any dmg. Got there, found the nail in the tire, inflated the tire and drove to a tire shop. They check the tire, and say it's shot cause i drove on it -_-. They kept on saying something about the tire getting chromed. No clue what that means. I saw the tire, the inside was chewed up a little, but it looked alright. They said I need a new tire, and since I had no other way, and there was no other shops open on a Sunday, I had to leave it at their shop. They're going to get me a new tire tomorrow. Do you guys think that short distance shot my tire? I really hope i'm not getting shafted. ****ing 200 bucks right there. FML.

depends on how the tire is on the inside. usually you would want to replace any tire that has sidewall damage on the inside... better safe then sorry right?

Sounds like you drove on it enough to damage the cords. This will show the most inside the tire, once any of the cords are broken the tire is done for.

yeah, if they say the tire is shot, most likely the tire is shot. It's worth it to dish the money out now, than to risk a blow out on the freeway.

I don't think the 135i has a spare, jack or inflation kit because the battery is located in the trunk. Stupid idea if you ask me.
