So I've heard people say that santa cruz is central califorina, but those maps say its norcal

I'm not quite sure myself haha

the way we categorize it down south is that anything above SB is NorCal, which of course includes the Bay Area - however, as mentioned, the Bay Area is a lot different from the rest of NorCal, like the Central Valley/Sac and geographically North Cal.

Its more NorCal then central...because i refuse to be grouped in with the Valley.

Personally, I consider Monterrey Bay our own little slice of CA that stands alone :P
