Best BBQ Ribs in the Bay Area (sequel to hamburger and pizza threads)

favorite in SF is Johnson's BBQ out on San Bruno Ave. good meat, the BBQ sauce isn't bad.

favorite outside of SF is Everett & Jones out on San Pablo Ave. in Berkeley and Fruitvale Ave. in Oakland. not much of a fan of the one at Jack London. very nice smoke, meat is good, and so is the sauce.

what's your favorites?

Uncle Frank's in Mt View is pretty good. I like it better than Everett & Jones in Berkeley and Hayward. Uncle Frank's has a nice spicy sauce, good meat. Would be better if the smoke were most consistent.

My favorite place would be happy hallow market in SJ, Yup that's right, BBQ from a liquor store. Their sauce is the Shiizle, prices are reasonable, and portions are good. Very hole-in-the-wall but its awesome.
