Best all weather tire for Tahoe coming up

Pretty much what the title says. I was rocking Toyo proxes 4 and they did not last very long. Thinking of giving Bridgestone RE970 AS or RE960 AS. Anyone have experience with either? Also, has anyone tried the new Toyo Proxes 4+ ??? Thanks!!!!

Continental Extreme Contact DWS. Had them on my wife's legacy, after a 2 years and maybe 35,000 they were still good for snow use and did well in the snow.

Got these on my car as well. Taken these tires through the snow a multitude of times. Only had an issue once, but it was puking snow that night. I love these tires and they will hold up through some spirited driving during the summer months as well. I have about 23k on my tires so far and they are going strong with a lot of tread life left.

I had Michelin pilots AS at one point on our a6 and it was pretty good in the snow. I live in Tahoe now and am using dedicated blizzaks on their own wheels.

When I was looking to get some snow type tires, the Blizzaks were the highest recommended ones. I would like to get a set of those some days, but at the time, it just wasn't plausible for me to have 2 sets of wheels (well, still isn't).

All season tires on the wrx/sti kills the driving experience for me. If you're going to Tahoe multiple times I'd recommend a second set of rims with snow tires.

My 2 cents.
