Just seeing what people think about this Idea to have a performance shop in Berkeley for subies. I know there are a lot of subies there, just curious.
It would do maintenance, installs, graphics, sales, etc.
take the poll please
Your opinion really does matter on this one.
thanks!

its kinda far from berkeley. Ive had to drive down there the last couple times in rush hour and it took almost 40min.
If there was a subie shop in berkeley i would be ALL over it.

Aaah.. sounds good. yeah, that's the problem with going to Hayward. I wish there was one closer. Especially if you're coming from work and you have an emergency.. can't go all the way to Hayward or SF if you're in the berkeley area... it's especially good if it's a couple of blocks from the BART.

yeah, I'm thinking about opening one. MMMMMBoost.. there isn't a shop specifically for subies in the SF area, but I know of some that work on some subies. I think it would be a great location because there's so many subies in berkeley. It doesn't have to be just mods, it's repair work and maintenance too
Berkeley is expensive for land, especially for something like an Auto shop, have you considered Emeryville? It'd be just as close to some of us, and people would not have to deal with the hassle of Berekeley traffic or the taunting desire to run every bicyclist down. but if you do start a shop, I'm looking for a nice afterschool job so....

Ken. you know you got my business.
i love emeryville. they are trying to make Bay St. real classy. I think they've done a reasonable job... but then again... well i'll talk about it later.
Where in Berkeley though? Tons of people in Berk drive scoobies. I know at least 10 of em personally... few of them are elderly women though. lol.
good luck!
