Practicing your swing by yourself, right?

Always play on a well maintained course.

Aim for the Green or Fairways or if you must the Fringe

and if avoidable...stay away from the rough.

Water traps, though, can be an enjoyable diversion...

I admit, I need to pull out the rain tarp every time, the storm usually comes in 5-10 waves per play.

You mean polishing the club Ryan? That hasn't been done by an owner in a while sighhhhhhhhhhh. My left handed swing isn't quite within par range either. Wish I could get a hole in one but instead, seems like I'm not even at the driving range nor the clubhouse.

The end of 2013 brought about productive tourney play on a brand new, foreign course. There were three days of full eighteen-hole play that brought multiple instances of a hole-in-one on this particularly enjoyable course (replete, of course, with full navigation of all bunkers, roughs, green, AND water traps; however, the back course was left alone due to course owner request not to adversely affect the mud trap), and prior to that, there was a practice day that culminated in a nice birdie as I was not quite completely familiar with the course yet.

I have thus far been unable to play this course again as it has been relocated approximately 6,000 miles away, but I'm not too bothered as there are multiple courses that may welcome my play in the near future. Let's hope that 2014 will be a good season for the good ol' one wood!
