Beaches that allow all night bon fires?

hahah i used those wooden palates before too those things make a great bon fire but it also attracted cops pretty quickly =(

so deciding between seabright and ocean beach right now.

does anybody know how well these places are patrolled?

there will be no obvious drinking, and stupid drunks, we'll clean up our trash all that good stuff so im not really worried about that.


i just don't want the cops to come n kick us out when everyones has a couple beers or 10...cuzz we wouldn't be in the condition to drive =(

I believe the latest you can stay out there on the beach is 10pm since it is a state beach, then patrol will come by and ask you to leave.

another suggestion is go down hwy 1 towards monterey/watsonville. Manresa and Sand Dollar are nice beaches for bonfires also.

If you're willing to go a little north, you can pull an all nighter at Muir beach. It's just south of Stinson. People spend the night out there all the time and there are fires going all night. I don't know if it's still considered illegal but my friends and I have done it countless times.
