I had to give them my school information, then they verified it. The whole process took 2-3 weeks. Looks like the student deal expired Jan 5th, here was the link...

there was this deal somewhere.... somewhat like what derekb did all i had to do was enter my college email address to confirm i was a student and then it was 40 bux for windows 7 (x64) ... this was awhile ago tho and they did not give me a hard copy or disk... but they let me download it so i still have the installer

Mine was the same way, a download. I burnt a copy of it to .iso so I could have a hard copy of it.

i didnt get my copy for about two months i emailed them that i didnt get it

two days later it shows up

a day after that another one shows up lol
