For me it's not about collecting shoes. Back in '90 when the Jordan 5's came out I wanted a pair SO bad. But my family was poor and my parents wrapped our feet in Prowings only. I asked for every birthday, Christmas and whatever else occasion I could get a gift. They always told me NO way, too much money and plus someone will just steal them and kill you.

So fast forward to adult hood, I still wanted to fulfill that childhood dream. And I got fakes, good fakes, but still fakes.

Why do people modify cars? That's a really stupid thing if you look at it objectively.

we like to hoard ****, collect random ****. I mean hey everyone's gotta have a hobby right? Collecting fits the bill

Yea, it's like saying, "Hey, why get a WRX when you can buy a Ford Focus for half the price and better gas mileage? I never understood the need to make cars go so fast. Such a waste of money because you're stuck in traffic most of the time anyway." or something.

I miss collecting shoes, going to all the shops, summits, etc. Sold most of my dunks and all that. 04-06 ISS FTW!!! It just got lame mid 2006.

what I think is when people see what kind of J's(jordans) you got on, wether they jus' stare and drool or home in and ask hey "where'd you get those", "how much you willing to sell 'em"; the moment of owning a pair is jus' unreal.

that's why I got alot. I think the ebay market is good and i'm legit to the extent where customers thanked and got addicted to ask what else do I have due to the aftermath of release dates.

I plan to hand these down to my son if these don't go for couple hundred for shoe hunters in the future, but in the meanwhile, my duplicate pairs are for left hand crossovers for game nights!
