I spotted a very nice 03(i believe) WRX STi at 17th and Ortega yesterday at around 4:20.. It had a CarbF. hood, and one of those extra aero dynamics scoop kind of thing on top of the car. I believe it was blue with gold rims.

exactly. since i've moved here, only two other scoob owners have waved back. i've even gotten a wave from an Evo owner, and approached and conversed with a mustang owner.

Yeah, that's why I stopped giving the peace sign or say wassup anymore. If someone says wassup, I'll give them back the same courtesy. One guy I said wassup 2 flipped me off and tried 2 race me in traffic lol. :x

A couple of walnut creek sightings over the weekend...

A wrb wingless STi lowered on volks w/ N1 style exhaust and a stuffed animal hanging off the rear bumper on n. main friday night.

A silver bugeye sedan w/ a silver banner accross the top of the windshield with wheels & exhaust. Saw you on civic turning onto ygnacio on saturday afternoon.

Yeah, I think the WRX camaraderie is going away, and the hello out the window greeting is leaving like just another fad.

The WRX being a cult car is fading. It's not like when the car was first released. There are less waves nowadays.

I see people in Prius's and r32 do it all the time. I think they made fun of the whole waving thing on curb your enthusiasm a couple of years ago.

I have almost quit waving to stock wrxs as I'm almost certain they will not wave back.
