Hehe, it's funny, we one day saw a pretty souped up Integra parked in the police parking lot one day. We figured the police were employing some kids, then we got to thinking and thought maybe there were going to be using them as decoys or undercover cars.

Turns out they were using them in classes they were teaching to teach the police officers about illegal modifications.

I asked one of the cops about what he learned, and he said they only tought on honda and acura, I asked about Mitsu, Suby, Nissan, Domestics, etc and he said nope, only honda and acura.

well, technically, the public wasn't supposed to know about this training, and it wasn't really formal training, more of like come out here, and check this car out and I'll tell you what isn't stock about it.

lol if you are there at the wrong place and the wrong time. you will be busted, even with catted DP, because cops dont care your DP is catted noncatted. he will tell you that your exhaust has been modified which is illegal, so there you go a ticket.

so here are more questions:

1. illegal to midify the exhaust, period?
2. catted, still illegal? meaning can this ticket be disputed?
3. fix it ticket or what? if fix it, does that mean i have to go back to stock?

1. yes
2. yes, legal for smog, but not for exhaust modification regulations
3. fix it ticket, put to stock, take to ref, go to court, pay 15 bux

1: I was under the impression that anything cat back is legal provided it conforms to the 95db noise limit.

2: I thought this was the place where ANY modification to stock, including high flow cats, is illegal.

LOL! F all those guys. Yeah Alameda airstrip is just waiting for a few thousand $ for k-rails and timing lights for weekend racing. Not hard to think up Mr. Mayor

My mod exhaust tickets involve me NOT fixing my exhaust and still getting it signed off $10? cool!
