cod world at war is terrible IMO. they really jacked up the greatness that was cod4. it's almost like treyarch said "hmm how can we totally destroy a great game?"

 

^^^Yeah thats what I've been hearing, pretty much why I never picked up COD5. Plus I'm pretty tired of the WW series, I want current-warfare games.

I just got a couple games for Christmas. Little big planet and resistance 2.

 

a buddy and I played Little Big Planet for 5 hours last night. Multiplayer co-op is so fun since you have to work together to do things.

SOCOM Confrontation sucks. Huge disappointment. I'm a huge fan of the SOCOM series, but this game just falls short. Maybe because Zipper Interactive didn't develop this game like the previous SOCOM titles?

Anyways, not having a campaign mode and making it strictly online only is why this game sucks ***.

 

calll of duty 4 and W@W suck for having single player

 

I was playing LBP with my lady friend the other day and it was really fun. Especially the parts of levels that require two players. We also played Madden a while ago and surprisingly she was pretty good. I ran the score up on her in the first half and then switched teams, so I was the one with a deficit for points. She held strong and I couldn't catch up. Later she bragged to my friends she beat me at Madden and I was pretty embarassed and tried to explain what happened. When she was telling my friends we just so happened to be at the niners/redskins game....pretty embarassing.
