Thanks for the info.
No problem man, but I'm serious about Koolance - they make quality parts that last a long, long time. Fully justifies dumping a few bills on a case/coolers.

The only thing that rivals liquid cooling in the commerical market is phase cooling or using peltiers - both of those are north of 1,000 for a decent system.

I'd recommend water cooling, but it doesn't seem like the OP isn't looking to go super extreme with OCing and gaming. Water cooling systems can get pretty steep in price. I have my PC2D (forgot model number) OCed at 1 GHz over the stock values, and my computer only does a safety shut down on super hot days. Other than that, my computer can be left on for days and never have a problem.

BTW to OP: Good job on choosing parts. Gigabyte and Pentiums are the best for OCing

Yeah I'm not. It was a really nice processor at about 75% off price, and It was taking 7-8 hours to batch process 500-700 jpegs, and now I can do 150 in about 20mins. Amazing!

Matt: I'm not going to run 3 sticks of RAM cause I want to have Dual Channel. I don't see the need to grab 2x512 sticks cause that's a little costly for the ram you are getting. I'll most likely wait until ddr3 prices drop some more in half year, and then spring on another set of 2x1gb identical to my current sticks.

Yeah, adding Ram doesn't always equate more power. Sometimes your processor will be too powerful that adding Ram that doesn't benefit your processor will slow down your computer overall. Speaking of which, after I'm done modding my car....

COMPUTER REBUILD!
