Any fellow WRX owners out there interested in carpooling? I figure it's worth a try, since there is the opportunity to get to work faster plus have gas costs cut in half. My commute is going from Campbell in the morning all the way to Emeryville. Anyone interested?

Great idea. You should get a list started of all the people with commutes. Some matches will inevitably be made. Though carpooling reduces flexibility to a degree, this is a great solution to the extreme traffic problems the Bay Area has been having for years. If everyone commuted, there would be half the cars on the road or less! It helps that I have HOV stickers, but they don't work on 680N from Fremont to 84.

I already commute with someone from my office from Pleasanton to Mountain View starting around 7:45-8am.

I was commuting from berkeley to mtn view for a summer and berkeley to santa clara for a few months

never again!

Yes, I think about killing myself everyday on the commute. Fortunately, it's only for another 3 months...in the meantime I want to carpool to ease the pain of having to watch those damn Prius drivers go by in the carpool lane with that *look* on their face! I think I might have a hard time finding someone though because few people are as dumb as me to do this commute.
