Wife and I saw it this weekend. Entertaining movie, mostly good minus a few dramatic/corny scenes (which are to be expected I guess). One other critique was the action cinematography - I would prefer a bit less shaky filming but maybe that was my fault because I like to sit kinda close up front.

I give it a B- overall for an alien movie.

My honest opinion... It was an "OKAAAY" movie. The alien figures or whatever they were threw me off.

The ending could of been much better!

If I wanted to see a war movie, BLACK HAWK DOWN would be the winner!

Just saw the movie earlier. It was pretty good. The action scenes are really good, IMO. I agree with the camera being a bit shaky though. You couldn't tell what the hell was going on or where anyone was going, and the story wasn't top notch, but I still think it is a great movie.

I thought D9 was pretty good! It was that or the Halo movie but that fell through, so they made District 9.

I'll probably see Battle LA some time this week though, it's been awhile since I've been to the movies.

Saw it last night with 3 friends. We all were entertained with the non-stop action, but I think everyone agrees with the story line being soooo predictable. Most especially the ending.....
