After seeing the trailer, this definitely looks like a movie worth watching. The special effects are badass.
my only iSsue with this flick is HOW'S IT GONNA END?
1. you have bad *** aliens.
2. they seem to kick our military's ***.
3. no transformers (autobots) to help the humans.
4. no single way of the aliens of dying (like water in THE SIGN, or a vorus in WAR OF THE WORLDS)...
seems like earth is FUBAR...

she is fine when she gets to play an angry character.
I for one would love to see an alien movie where there are good battle scenes because we can put up a good fight.

Naw, they just bombed the hell out of the cloverfield monster... The coolest scene of the movie is when the stealth bomber drops those bombs on the monster. Somehow it still lives after the bombing, which is total BS cuz those bombs would have turned sand into glass... They dont really tell you how it's actually killed, at the end all it shows *SPOILER ALERT* the tape that they recorded with a "Property of US Gov't" written in the beginning meaning that the military found the tape after the fact.
